So at this point I’m a little frustrated, to say the least.
ANOTHER race rained out. Between the Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge and the Summit Racing Bracket Series, 5 of the first 6 races this season have been rained out.
I guess I should back up and explain the racing I do. I race in two drag racing series.
- The Summit Racing Equipment Bracket Series (NHRA) at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX. This is 1/8-mile bracket racing exclusively there. I race the “No Box” class, aka the foot brake class.
- The Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge. This series races at a few different tracks around north Texas and Oklahoma, but primarily at the Texas Motorplex (above) and North Star Dragway in Denton, TX. North Star is a 1/8-mile only track. Texas Motorplex is a 1/4-mile track and my class races the full 1/4-mile at this track. In this series I compete in the King Muscle class.
